I highly recommend this casual point-and-click adventure, but I want to make sure your expectations are not overly hyped.

First, despite this being divided into four episodes, they are each quite short. The total amount of content is comparable to other games in this genre. Second, gameplay is very casual. There are no significant challenges, even in "expert" mode. Puzzles are very easy (if they can even be called "puzzles") and the handful of hidden-object scenes are trivial. This is basically a "click here, click there" game, which isn't a bad thing—it's very soothing and smooth—but you should know what you're getting into.

With that in mind, this game represents new production standards for casual point-and-click adventures. The story is riddled with plot holes and laughable characterizations, but is very well narrated. High points are graphic-novel-like scene direction, satisfying "action" sequences, and voice acting that is head-and-shoulders above other games you have played in the genre. This is what "AAA" polish looks like for a casual point-and-click adventure. I would love to see more of this, hopefully in games that offer real puzzle solving.

Note that though the game doesn't natively support Linux, it runs perfectly over WINE.
