Demon Hunter 5: Ascendance

A fun, campy story with colorful characters and smooth-as-butter gameplay. The graphics are terrific, and though the English translation is awkward at times, the voice actors do a great job in bringing it to life.

The hidden-object scenes are of easy-to-moderate difficulty, as are the puzzle mini-games. All in all, a very well-balanced and well-paced game.

This is the best entry in the mostly mediocre Demon Hunter series since the second.

Some reviewers give this game a thumbs down because it has no significant continuity with the previous Demon Hunter games. That is absolutely true. But I still think it's a fine game in its own right, which you can indeed enjoy without having played previous entries.

Note that I had a bug with achievements: the game crashed on me once when clicking on a collectible, so it seems I didn't get it even though it disappeared from the game.
