Red Candle's second game, after Detention, does not disappoint.
Again we get a devastating interactive story, this time told in detailed, atmospheric, claustrophobic first-person 3D. Again, the art direction is superb. There's much less gameplay this time around, such that we can consider this to be a "walking simulator". Also, this game takes the horror elements further, adding some gore and jump scares, so do be warned.
While the storytelling is exquisite, pouring through with rendered note fragments and surrealist scenes, the story itself is much simpler than that of Detention. Indeed, there's not much layering at all. Rather, it's a fairly straightforward exploration of a very specific psychological state.
