Kraven Manor
Awful gameplay and many crashes make this a hard thumbs down from me, which is too bad because there is an interesting structural concept here.
The awfulness is mostly due to the chase scenes. They are many, frustrating, and repetitive. Also awful is that you have no inventory, and generally items are hard to see and finicky to manipulate. My "favorite" part is when the game crashes (there are only auto-saves, and there are too few of them) and then I have to repeat the chase scene.
The story is ... fine. But it's also woefully underdeveloped due to this game being so, so short. If they had more time the graduate students who made this game might have been able to flesh it out into something intriguing. As it stands, it's skin deep.
Oh, and there are two endings, one of which is pretty much only achievable with a walkthrough. And you have to follow the walkthrough from the start, because there is a point-of-no-return after which you would have to restart the game in order to get that ending. I do not find that satisfying at all.
