Lumino City

A charming little puzzle-focused point-and-click adventure that may not be everyone's cup of tea.

The graphics are a delightful, masterful combination of 2D, 3D, and photographic design. Just moving through the different scenes will make you smile.

Unfortunately, the gameplay can be frustrating, even annoying. Most of your challenges are puzzles of the mathematical or graphical sort, and while some are ridiculously easy, some are obtuse.

The point-and-click adventuring is barely worth mentioning: your inventory will never contain more than two items, and moving back and forth between areas is slow. The controls are especially maddening: you never know quite where you're supposed to click, and clicking in the wrong place will send you—slowly—in the wrong direction.

"Luckily" the story is linear and you always know that you just have to complete a puzzle to take you to the next location, so if you get too frustrated you can look up a walkthrough.
