Mind Snares: Alice's Journey
While this isn't the best of Artifex Mundi, it's still heads and shoulders above many other hidden-object games, and I recommend it for lovers of the genre.
The storyline is straightforward but takes you through a few very different words. The graphics and music are as terrific. There's a decent amount of content: quite a bit of point-and-click adventuring, several (fairly easy) hidden-object scenes, and (medium-low difficulty) puzzle mini-games. It's a casual, nice way to spend a couple of hours—as long as you know what to expect.
Where the game falters is in the clunky text (at least in English), and in some lazy animations.
Best line: "YOU SAVED THE LITTLE PUMPKINS AND ARE VERY COMPASSIONATE." Yes, I did, and I am. I can die now feeling fulfilled. Thank you, Artifex Mundi, for helping me achieve my life's dream!
Thank you, also, for supporting Linux and making my gaming life easier.
