Mozart Requiem

Strong no.

The game is broken, buggy, and frustrating and should not have been released. I'm a bit amazed that I was given a free copy to review it in this state. Really, what were they thinking?

The little I was able to experience showed some potential. There is nice voice acting (I played in English; well, tried to play it at least) and the story was obviously crafted with love for Mozart and his world. But it was not crafted with any understanding of how commercial games work. Character movement is slow and clunky. The inventory is so tiny that I could not discern the items, and clicking on those items did not seem to correspond to the visual click box. There are insanely long cut scenes that cannot be skipped—this includes the opening cut scene (!) as well as those started from misclicks. For example, clicking on a piano will have Mozart play a whole 5-minute piece. This happens every time you click on that piano, even as you do so by mistake while looking for the tiny items that may or may not be on the screen. Yeah, not fun.

After two game-breaking bugs (one which was fixed fairly quickly, thankfully) I lost my patience and interest.

I strongly recommend that in the future devs do playtesting before asking that people pay for their game.
