Paradigm

The funniest game I've played in a long time. The concept is creative and wacky and lends itself to all kinds of absurd situations. But it always takes things a step further, breaking fourth walls (and fifth walls?), poking fun at the genre and gaming in general, and constantly having a good time with itself. The mood is very laid back and chill and deliberately forgoes any excitement.

It plays like a classic point-and-click adventure: items, puzzles, cutscenes, etc. It's also fully voice-acted and features a bangin' soundtrack. Phat beatsies guaranteed.

If I have a complaint it's that it's too easy. There were one or two obscure puzzles, but the game world isn't big enough to make anything too challenging. You pretty much always know what you're supposed to accomplish and it doesn't take too much thought to put two and two together.

Note that it's quite slow moving and features a lot of long monologues about, well, everything. That's really the point of the experience. So come in patient and willing to listen.
