The Great Gatsby: Secret Treasure

I'm sad to have to give this otherwise superb game a thumbs down due to breaking bugs. In my case I reached the final scene, having done everything correctly, but somehow was missing a final item that I'm sure I acquired. The hint button could not help. I was forced to watch the ending on YouTube. It seems that other people are reporting bugs, too.

It's sad because this game is gorgeous, perfectly paced, and perfectly atmospheric. The hidden-object scenes are classic, a good mix of easy-to-find and very-hard-to-find. The puzzle mini-games are quite easy, but the point-and-click puzzles can be quite challenging, especially if played on expert mode.

Unfortunately, the game engine is not as polished as the art. Other than the bugs, I found it overly sensitive sometimes. A wrong click and you might interrupt an important voice-over, with the written message disappearing, too.

Maybe you won't encounter the same bug I did? Other people seemed to have finished the game. Good luck.
