The Myth Seekers: The Legacy of Vulcan

Yet another super-polished casual point-and-click adventure from Artifex Mundi. As usual, graphics are gorgeous, music and voice acting are decent, and gameplay is smooth as butter. Note that there aren't many hidden-object scenes and that the puzzle mini-games are especially easy. The point-and-click puzzles, though, can be quite challenging—though unfortunately this difficulty is sometimes due to them being utterly impractical.

This game spans various exciting locations in Italy at a thrilling pace, covering some lesser parts of Roman mythology. But it does not weave them into a very coherent story. There's also something off with the tone: it's disappointing to see the majesty of the old gods being reduced to just characters you meet along the way.

Still, despite its flaws, it's a fun game.
