Time Mysteries: Inheritance - Remastered
This mediocre hidden-object is flawed, but still fun enough to give it a thumbs up.
I don't know about "remastered": the resolution is still very low, and it's stretched out for widescreen monitors with no option to fix it. The character animations are awful: faces are distorted and morphed to give the impression that they are speaking, but the result is somewhere between comical and terrifying. Another annoyance is that in some scenes you have a pulsating light effect. It adds no realism, and only makes it hard to find objects.
The voice acting isn't great, but isn't too terrible. The story is hokey but there are worse.
So, what's good about? The gameplay: there are many good hidden-object scenes and several nice puzzles. Fans of the genre will enjoy. For newcomers, there are much better HOGs out there.
Finally, I'd like to thank the developers for supporting Linux! It is much appreciated.
