Unsolved Mystery Club: Ancient Astronauts
Despite some nice aspects of this game, it's just too clunky and uneven to recommend.
The game engine is just bad: it requires precision clicking, the animations are annoying, and it generally feels very unpolished.
The story concept seems exciting and the story does start strong, but it devolves quickly into a ridiculous mish-mash of "ancient alien" gimmicks with nothing to tie them together. There is no resolution to the story, and really no apparent point to any of it.
The only good thing about this game is that sometimes the point-and-click adventure puzzles are quite challenging, and the hidden-object scenes are pretty good. But, also, they are sometimes either plain obtuse or trivial. The puzzle mini-games are just average, and sometimes involve annoying busywork.
