Valley
A confused, frustrating game. It seems to want to be an exploration game, but though the world looks inviting, there's nothing to find. It's essentially linear. Just keep going forward. It seems to want you to do lightweight environmental puzzles, but the level design is so brain-dead that they are merely a chore. There's some terrible 3D platforming that serves no purpose other than to annoy. It seems to want to give you the sense of being in a world, but the effort is wasted on a silly premise, bad storytelling, and throwaway logic.
"Quantum death"—that's a real phrase used in the game. I'm not joking.
To top it all off, I get hard crashes in this game, always in the same place, which keep me from finishing it. The crash is so bad that my computer reboots! This is a Windows 10 machine with very high specs.
