Where Angels Cry: Tears of the Fallen [Collector's Edition]

A surprisingly good casual point-and-click adventure. Its strong points are the art and animation: beautiful, carefully done, and cohesive.

The other elements are not the best of the genre, but they are also not terrible. The story, dialog, and voice acting won't wow you, but they're also not entirely vapid. The hidden-object scenes and puzzle mini-games are a bit too easy, but the adventuring puzzles are at just the right level of difficulty. And it's all long enough to be satisfying for fans of this kind of game.

The bonus story involves a weird twist that is not incorporated into the main story. It feels like something fell apart during the production, perhaps scenes that were cut away or left on the drawing board. It's not too big a deal, but it does leave an awkward impression.

All in all, a remarkable achievement for this developer.

One more thing: there are in-game achievements, but they are not linked to the Steam platform.
